Snapshot:

Finance leader with more than 20 years of experience on finance, M&A, accounting and HR, working with PE funds, private owners and multinational companies performing in the manufacturing, distribution, construction/engineering, aerospace/government, CPG and service industries.

I started my career as a Cost Accountant, performed as a FP&A Director and Controller for several years, and about nine years as a CFO, operating entities in US, LATAM and Europe.

Recent achievements:

  • Implementation support of  project accounting on Epicor for Cost Plus, T&M and Fixed price government projects for an A&D customer
  • Acquisition and full integration of a newly created precision components and thermoplastics platform (4 companies acquired)

Experience:

Built financial systems and structures. Take small companies and work in the platform consolidation along the CEO and MTs, implement all the systems and processes required to unify the companies, create a control environment, clean the data flow of the information, hire and develop finance teams, and ensure high quality compliance and reporting for management, teams C-suite, board of directors, investors, government and other control entities.

Work with the PE funds to deploy value creation initiatives, to achieve AEBITDA growth, in sustainable and scalable structures.

Work with CEO and PE to have a clear long term growth strategy, that aligns to exit plans and ensure day to day operations are consistent, documented and available in data rooms.

Provide my CEOs with quality data, validation and support of vision and strategy, ensuring any decision benefits the company, investors and employees.

Create financial models and KPIs as a common platform to report results, manage budget, adjust forecast, provide management teams with performance analysis and guidance to implement actionable decision.

Manage bank relationships (covenants) Audits, QofEs, valuation work, tax filing and compliance, government financial reporting.

Maintain high involvement on price strategies, cost control and any decision that benefits or impacts the value generation in the short and long term.

Develop fully functional teams, because of my background I can hire and train my personnel to achieve alignment and high productivity.

Work with investment bankers to prepare management presentations, and take charge of all the due diligence required from the finance department during an exit process.

Set up new systems, licenses, accounting work for the acquired entities and coordinate transition processes.

Implement current accounting standards like ASC606 ASC842 among others to ensure GAAP compliance..
